I was ahead of my time. Which is another way to say I was a weird kid. In the mid 60’s when UFO’s were considered swamp gas and weather balloons…I was a True Believer.
I believed UFO’s were Real and filled with our “Friendly Space Brothers.” My friend’s parents did not want me talking this non-sense to their kids. I had quite a bad reputation. Which I guess I deserved.
I can remember going out at night into the cotton fields behind my house and looking up at the stary night and begging for the UFO’s to come down and take me away. No one ever came for me. Not sure if that was a blessing or an insult?
Now it seems it’s COOL to believe in UFO’s and to believe we are not alone. Do You Believe in UFO’s? Are we Alone in the Universe? I know…deep questions. I told you I was a weird kid. I guess I’m still weird as an adult. Tell me what you Think about UFO’s. Are they REAL? Let me know your thoughts.
