Community Blood Center Of The Ozarks has stated that area hospitals strongly urge Covid-19 Survivors to give plasma immediately.
The need for Convalescent plasma has significantly increased over the past weeks with a 337 percent increase in usage in area hospitals between August and October.
This usage has continued to grow during November as well with the number of patients hospitalized with Covid- 19 increasing at an alarming rate so having supplies of convalescent plasma is more important than ever.
CBCO is asking everyone in our community who is eligible to donate at Community Blood Center Of The Ozarks.
