2nd Annual Back to School Bash

back-to-school

Pastor Robert Little and the Plentiful Harvest Church & Mission Center in New Boston are at it again.

We are receiving donations regarding this event, so if your church, civic group, work place or other concerned and community-involved persons would like to collect supplies, serve, offer a community/church service booth, or participate in another productive way, call Pastor Robert at 870-571-6139 or Mrs. Beth, 903-277-2501.

The West Bowie County Back to School Bash is Saturday, August 10th, 11am–2pm, at the church, 500 Merrill Street in New Boston. Sure, it’s ‘food, fun, and family’…but it’s FREE backpacks, school supplies, along with FREE haircuts for the students, FREE food…and FUN things to do, such as: bounce houses, face painting, clowns, balloon artists, and more. What a great way to get ready for back to school!

Pastor Robert explained that the Bash provided stocked back packs to 26 students from every city in Western Bowie County last year, with some from Texarkana, Liberty-Eylau, and Foreman, Arkansas. This year, it is out hope that we can add a hygiene/dental component to the services offered.

He offers gratitude to any and all offering assistance, so that as many young people as possible can be blessed.

“But my God shall supply all of your need, according to His riches.–Phillippians 4:19, KJV
